History of 35073 The history of the carriage is sketchy at present as there is not much information available about this carriage. If you can add to this page then please contact us using the link on the right! Brake Second Corridor (BSK) carriage 35073, was built by Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Company in 1957, under lot 30233, diagram 181. It is believed the carriage visited Carnforth in 1991, where it was repainted into its current maroon livery. RHTS then received the vehicle in 1997, and the aim is to restore it for passenger service in place of the current Mk1 Brake Gangwayed (BG) carriage currently used on passenger trains. |
